Nicole's Demo

This picture is a little blurry. Its was taken from my phone from a distance but I wanted to share with you the fabulous demo one of my downlines, Nicole did at our Imprints meeting. I love this pic of her. She said she was nervous but once she got going you would have never known. She did awesome and she went above and beyond in her demo. These are her projects:
Look at these two baskets! Adorable, right? The technique she demoed was using the Self Adhesive Sheets to attach glitter.
Sorry, I got a little close on this picture. But hopefully you can still get the idea. Its was beautiful.
And her card? Gorgeous, right? This one actually had two demos on it: the glitter flowers and the versa mark pen trick.
I think Nicole should do info-mercials. I could listen to her talk and demo all day. She was funny and entertaining and she even brought gifts for everyone. Above and Beyond. Above and BEYOND!! Great job, Nicole!

Sarah's Card

There were so many great cards at our Imprints swap the other weekend. I want to share with you some of those cards, but this is the one that got my vote. Its my style for sure! One of my downlines created this one. I love everything about it. I love the mono-chromatic look. Its my favorite stamp set and my favorite color. Its a great card for a class or demo. At first I think clean and simple but its not.......
There is a ton of detail on this card. Stamping, embossing, punches, and embellishments. This card would make a great express vs. step it up card in a workshop demo.
Really, really good job Sarah! Stay tuned for more of my favorites.........

Wedding Invites

Okay, first I want to say I know I didn't get very good pictures of these. I do think they look much better in person. But I hope you can get the idea here. These are the invitations going out for my Mother-in-laws upcoming wedding. We wanted them very simple. The wedding is at home and is mostly family. So we didn't need a RSVP card. These are 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 post card style.
MDS helped me print my wording in perfectly coordinating colors. Love that. We are using Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder.
Just a little bit of stamping detail to keep with the garden theme. The background was also embossed in the Vintage Wallpaper. I know that part is hard to see but it really adds to the invite when you are holding it in your hand.
I know my Mother-in-law said she loves them so that's all that matters. They were fun to make. Thanks for stopping by see you tomorrow!

Thank You, Thank You and Thank You Again!

There's no better feeling than feeling like someone out there is enjoying what I am doing here on my little blog. I love comments. And lately you readers and followers have been making me feel so special. So I wanted to say thank you to those of you that leave me sweet notes and pin creations of mine to Pinterest. That must mean you like some of my style. That makes me feel so special, so thank you! And so do these:

This little award was sent to me by Tracey at My Creative Side. This award started in Germany and it means favorite or beloved, and it's for anything, not just scrapbooking/crafting. The purpose of this award is to bring attention to blogs with fewer than 200 followers, and
they then pay it forward by passing the award on to 5 other small blogs!!!! Pretty nice, huh? Stay tuned and I will pay this one forward.

In the mean time hop on over to Tracey's blog and say "HI" and become a follower. Trust me you will want to. Her blog is pretty fabulous!

Also, I was a feature of the hugely popular blog, My Crafty World. I am always thrilled when Tiffany picks one of my creations because she finds amazing work. Thank you, Tiffany. Click here to see which post of mine she loved.
And again? Just a week apart. Tiffany, you brighten up my day. I love it!! Thank you so much!! Here is the post for this crafty pick.
Thanks for stopping by today, and if you are one of the ladies coming to stamp with me today, see you soon!!

Imprints Today!

Today is a stampin day. Imprints. What is Imprints? It is my upline's team name and she hostesses a HUGE meeting for all of us. Yep, there are quite a few of us so we have to meet at a hall. Its sort of awesome to be together with that many demos, sharing and supporting each other.
Bev, my upline, does all sorts of fun stuff. Make and Takes, Demos (this one today, is going to be done by one of my very own downlines, Nicole. I am so excited for her!) business shares and more. We also do a card swap. Love that part! So that is what I am sharing with you now. My card.
I actually have three versions of it but they all use the new Summer Smooches suite. Here I use the DSP and the new Fabric Brads. Trust me your are gonna love all of of it. Bight colors, small prints, lots to coordinate. Just about everything I want in SU products. I am so in love with everything Summer Smooches.
The layout of the card, the white on white, clean and simple look, I cased from one of the cards we did at our recent stamp camp. The card was designed by Alyssa and Jen (I am not sure which one, but I do know it was one of the chick-mates) and demo'ed by Nicole.
Okay, that's it. I will be back tomorrow with lots of pictures and info to dazzle you with. Happy Saturday!!

Happy Hunger Games Day!!!

**Nerd Alert** Okay, I am warning you now, I am about to Geek-Out a bit.

I am pumped this morning. Why? Because Hunger Games starts today. What is that? If you don't know then my post today is going to really confuse you. Sorry about that. Hunger Games is only, just about, my favorite obsession at the moment. I was so in love with these books and guess what? They made a movie, that I don't get to see until next week, but anyhoo I am still excited for those who get to see it today. But guess what? I am obsessed with everything Hunger Games related, with the help of Pinterest, I wanted to show you some of my favorites....

Anyone throwing a Hunger Games party tonight, or today? I thought these where brilliant. Little silver parachutes hanging from the ceiling, bringing bread and other stuffs. Cute!
This I just think is kinda beautiful. Clean and simple. I would love to hang it in my house somewhere. But I don't think Brandon would like that;)picture source
Hunger Games nail polish, anyone? Yes, I will be getting me some of this. The colors are kinda awesome and there is one for each district;)
Is this cute or what? This I would totally have hang in my kitchen. It just looks cool. And if you didn't know what Hunger Games was, then you wouldn't think anything of it. But those that do know, would love it, right?
And who doesn't love themed cupcakes, huh? Awesome. Just awesome. I love other peoples creativity.
Here is the adorable cast. So there you have it. A little geek-ery to start your morning. I am sure there are some of you out there that are thinking I am a weirdo, and are un-following me as we speak, but I am sure there are more of you that can empathize with my inner ( and outer) geek-dom.
I will be back to cards tomorrow, promise. Now go, and May the odds be ever in you favor..................................;)

McMurray Wedding

One of my cousins is getting married and she enlisted my help with the invitations. I was thrilled to help. Nervous, but thrilled. This is my first wedding set and to tell you the truth I had no idea what I was doing. But she trusted me.

Luckily, I do have another cousin who is an expert in this area. So I enlisted some of her help on layouts and wording. Thanks, Ash! Be sure to hop on over to her blog to see her beautiful work.

I was very please with them in the end and so was my cousin.

So there you have it. My first wedding ensemble, hopefully with more to come. Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow!

Top O' the Mornin' to You...

So, is everyone cooking their Corned Beef and Cabbage this morning? Drinking Green Beer? Cleaning up all the mischief the Leprechauns left around your house, just to mess with your kiddos? Okay, to tell you the truth St. Patrick's Day totally snuck up on me this year. I didn't even get a chance to make goodies for the girls school (GASP!!) I know, I know. I cant believe it myself. shame.

Luckily, I have a friend who was on top of things. And she even knew what day St. Patrick's Day was (and it wasn't Thursday, like I thought it was.) Apparently, the girls school celebrated on Thursday and I forgot to dress them in green that day (sorry girls) and that was the start of all my confusion.

Anyway, Charlette made me this perfect card and I wanted to share with you. I love how clean and simple it is. Just perfect. Now do me a favor, and hop on over to Charlette's blog and say hi to her:
