Lots of Camp Photos

So yesterday was our camp, and I wanted to share a few photos with you today. It was a huge success and the customers seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was so proud of all the Demos that helped put it on: Lorraine, Alyssa, Emi, Jen, Nicole, Charlette and Marita. These girls seriously worked their bums off yesterday and it showed!!

Take a look at these beautiful identifiers. Each customer got one as they walked in the door. It was the indicator color for their door prize.

The door prizes were amazing. I really wanted one of each of them for myself, but I thought someone might notice if I snaked a few of these into my bag. They were so cool. Lucky customers!!

These ladies we not slacking in the samples department either. The display we unbelievable to me. I only had a few seconds before the first session to run around and take a few pictures. But I wish I could have taken and individual shots of each and every project.

How amazing is this?? Aren't those flowers beautiful. This was a creation that Alyssa had made.

This table I believe was Emi's creations. I loved her cards and the pot with the paper flowers in it was way cool!

Lorraine and I were sharing this table.

More from Lorraine and myself;)

And these cuties are from Nicole. I wish I had gotten a better shot of those banners. You seriously cant see how adorable they are in the picture.

So it was a great day. A great day for customers and us demos alike. Thank you so so so much to the demonstrators that worked so hard to pull this off.

Camp Today!!

Today is Stamp Camp day. A fun day of stampin, all day long. I love it. Another part of camp that I love is the prizes. Each guest gets an identifier (we make flower clothes pins in different colors) and that identifier will correlate with a specific prize.

These are my identifiers. My color is Temping Turquoise. And below is the gift I made to goes with them.

Can you tell I am loving this stamp set at the moment? I sort of love creating my own background with that great flower stamp. These are note books the ladies can throw in their purses to keep track of things.

On the inside they have a notepad (that's not attached so they can add in another one if they use this one up) and a pocket. The pocket would be great for holding on to your coupons when you are grocery shopping. If you are someone that uses coupons. I know I am.

So anyway, that's what the ladies are getting from me. I hope they like them. I will be back tomorrow with more camp pictures. See you soon!

Thank you for all the wonderful comments. I Love comments!!

Video Tutorial coming soon..........

Whoo Hoo!

One of my favorite things about being a Su demo is the fab magazine we get every month, called Stampin Success magazine. Its full of cool projects and tips to help you with your business, fun contests and more. And occasionally you may even see your name pop up in it. That is way cool. But do you know what is even cooler??????

Seeing your downline's name pop up in here! Now that is SUPER exciting. See that name! Charlette Fite! Whoo Hoo!!

Oops, sorry the pic is a little bury. But this is a card I gave to Charlette because I was so proud. I know Nicole (Charlette's upline) and me (her up-up line) were both pumped to see this. But not surprised at all!!

Girl has been on fire! So this is more of a

Congratulations

Send Me Soaring, Get Well

Another Send Me Soaring card. This card was a Regional take and make, so you may have seen it else where too. But then we recreated it again at our Send Me Soaring class. Yep, Send Me Soaring. You probably would even guess that looking at it at first glance.

I thought this card was so creative and that was just one of the many cards that sold me on this set. Look close, see those small heart petals and that leaf? Yep, those are kites. Cute, right?

Not to mention all the sentiments in that set are great!

Okay, gotta run. Thanks for stopping by. Off you make more videos for you today;)

For Jenn

Okay, I am a bad friend. Like really bad. I forgot to post this birthday card I made for one of my close friends on Sunday. I feel awful. I just want you to know Jenn, that I am sitting here, with my head hung low, under a shame cloud. Seriously. I had it in my head that your birthday was on Wednesday. I don't know what is wrong with me. I feel awful!

Jenn said she thought I was mad at her when I didn't post a card. First of all: NO! Second: What could I be mad at you for?? And third: What!?!

Believe me, it wont happen again. I hope you like this card and I hope you had a great birthday. I will make it up to you, promise!

Baby Shower Fun!

Yesterday, we joined my family for a baby shower for my cousin, Ashley and her little "bun in the oven." The shower was really cute and I just had to share a bit.

This first picture was the "kids only zone (No mommies allowed!)" The girls were set free on a pack of onsies to decorate for the new little one. It was really cute and a huge hit with the girls.

That's Ash right there. And soon to be "BIG SIS" Gia. Ashley looked great. Gia was as sweet as ever and she even got a few "big sister" gifts. Which, note to self, is a great idea. Give the older sibling a gift to to make them feel special and excited about the upcoming baby.

I loved the decorations. Tons of details. Tons of color. Tons of creativity. The girl that threw the shower did an awesome job! Those little tins were our favors. "Sweet Orange Lip Gloss." Nice. What girl doesn't love to get a little lip gloss??

I loved her signs. They were everywhere and always with a cute saying on them. From what I hear ,the party hostess is a Pinterest Addict;) but really? who isn't, huh?? I love Pinterest and she (whether they were her ideas or Pinterest) collaborated some great stuff together.

Yep, and they loved it too. I adore this group of ladies together.

So it was a good day. Family time. Good food. Fun Games. Cute decorations. Lots of gifts. Ashley looked great. The girls had fun. And a new baby boy is on his way!!

Saturday, February 18, 2012

Oh Boy!

Today, we are off to a babyshower for my cousin, Ashley. Yep, she's havin' a boy. Oh Boy!! That is so different for us considering the first five Great-grand babies on this side of the family are all girls. We can't wait to meet him. But today, we are pumped just to get some girl time, some cousin time, some fun time.

This is the card I made to go with our gift for Ash and her little "bun." When she saw the Everyday Enchantment paper she loved it because it matches the new baby decor.

On a side note. Ash is so stinkin' cute with that belly. Man! It makes me miss it!! New babies are so exciting!..................I know what you are thinkin' and NO, its not gonna happen. Just feeling sentimental this morning. That's all;)

Celebrate You!

Good Morning Ladies! Last night was our Send Me Soaring Class and I really wanted to show the ladies how I fell in love with this set. Send me Soaring was the focus set we used at Regionals and we made two fantastic cards using it. I also love the idea of using those kites (I love the idea of using any stamp) in a different way than it was intended.
The possibilities are endless with this set. It is so versatile. I love it. Here we used the kites to make argyle.

I love this look. It is cute for a little baby card, it sort of has a golf-ish look to it (which would be great for guy cards) and it sort of reminded me of something collegiate, right? Picture it as a graduation card in school colors. It could work, right?

Okay, that's it. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!

For My Hubby

I have one more Valentine Straggler for you this morning. This one went to my hubby yesterday for Valentines Day. You know, I have said before that he is really hard to make cards for but when he opened this one, I noticed him really studying it for a while. Then he said,"You know, this is a really cool card. Did you post it yet?" Okay, he's adorable. First, I was stoked that he like the card and second I though it was awesome that he though I should share it.

Its fairly simple not much to it but punches. And a lot of sponging, which I am doing a lot of lately. And a few Trinkets. The Trinkets alone should tell you how much I love this guy. I always buy the Trinkets but I hoard them and only use them on VERY special cards.........He got two on one card!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. I am going to keep the card for myself, but he got it first!

So that's all. Simple card. But don't worry I wont share the inside of the card with you. I don't want to get all gushy and tell you stuff like:

How giddy in love I am with him

or how handsome he is to me

or how I still think he is hilarious (sometimes)

or what a wonderful father he is

or the he is a better husband that I could dream for

Nope, I wont share that with you. I will keep that just for him!

Supplies:

Crumb Cake Card Stock

Very Vanilla Card Stock

Chocolate Chip Card Stock

Everyday Enchantment DSP

Chocolate Chip Ink

Soft Suede Ink and Sponges

1 3/4 Circle Punch

XL Scallop Circle Punch

2-Step Bird Punch

Linen Thread

More Valentine's Yummy-ness

Happy Valentine's Day to you! {Mm-wah!} Hope you have a romantic, lovey-dovey day ahead of you. I know we do.

The hubs has already surprised his girls and spoiled us rotten. Man, I love that guy!! Like so much. So Much!!

Now the girls are off to a fun day at school and they are loaded with goodies to give away. They are so excited. Today's post are the baked yummy-ness we are dropping of to teachers and a few other special co-workers of the hubby.

These adorable tags are a total case for me (although mine are a smaller version.) My friend Nicole made goodie bags with these cute little tags on them at the Valentine stamp and Chat. Then her and her daughter were working on pencil toppers together with these guys on them too. They were adorable............and the owls were cute too;) Nicole cased Heather Summers and I cased Nicole. Thanks, Nicole!

Inside were Peanut butter kiss cookies. They are de-lish. I taste-tested about 5 of them just to make sure. And yep, they're GOOD!

Here is the link to the super easy recipe I found.

Classroom Valentine's

Yesterday was a happy Sunday with just me and my girls. We got some crafting done and a little baking as well. Just gettin' ready for that Big Love Day that is just around the corner.
The girls are having a big Valentine's Party at school tomorrow and we were asked to bring Valentines for 36 kids. But of course for us that really means 72 valentines. And of course, they cant give out the same thing, right? Nobody wanted two of the same Valentine. So we were busy. And yes the girls helped. They love stamp time! Here they are signing those Valentines.

Is there anything cuter than that little chicken-scratch?? Really? So cute. I sort of think they write their names like there personalities too. "HELLO, I'm AVA." Big and bold. and tiny little Sam hiding in the corner. So true.

These are just little match books with the classic conversation hearts inside. Quick and easy for the girls to help with.

We used the Loads of Love set, which is one of my old classic favorites. You know, it was actually the first stamp set I bought. Ever.

And here is Valentine number two. Thank you MDS on these ones. You have seen these around, right? They are all over Pinterest and I really wanted to give them a shot. The little impromptu photo shoot (and getting the hand in the right place so the sucker wouldn't cover their faces) was the hardest part. But really that wasn't even that bad.

I just had to angle to holes in the card so the lolly would lean away from their faces.

Thanks for stopping by. Be safe in the wet weather out there today!!

Valentines from Chan

Happy Sunday! Today I have a guest stamper for you. Last week at our Valentines Stamp and Chat, my friend Chan came to stamp with us and she came bearing gifts. Lots of gifts. Girl has been busy!! I love it. But today I am only going to show you her Valentines:
Look at what she made for Ava and Sam!! I love this girl. Not only does she make adorably awesome creations, but she always thinks of my girls. You get HUGE love points on that one! Seriously.

Now how cute are theses? I love this idea. You know those stickers and box valentines always call to my girls {{Cringe}} but this is a way cool alternative to those Valentines. Add them into a project or take them and add some SU flare to them. Way cool!

I haven't actually shown these to the girls yet, they are hiding until Tuesday. But I know they are gonna go nuts!

This is a little something for me and the hubs. This was cool.

It's a card, but also a little gift. Inside she wrote the coolest note that reads," I hope you and your sweetheart enjoy a special candlelight dinner on this special Valentines Day." It was written in french too. {Mm-wah!} So romantic.

Nope, that's not all. She even made little goodies for each of the ladies that stamped with us that night.

Isn't she cool!?! Now seriously, I know you want to stamp with us now, huh? Thanks Chan! From all of us. You are awesome.

Now, stay tuned and I will show you what she made for Ava's birthday too. You're gonna love it!
