Family BBQ Invites

 I'm still here, I promise. Please bear with the intermittent posting for the next few days. I am crafting. Crafting and stamping a lot actually. The trouble is, I am working on lots of cards in bulk (invitations, conventions swaps and more.) So I am getting lots made, the trouble is it doesn't leave me with a ton to share with you. So these are what took the majority of my day yesterday. And beware, I did use a little contraband ( non- SU paper and ribbon. Esh!)

These invites are for my Grandpa's upcoming commitment ceremony. Its not a wedding, more like a mixing of the families, than anything else. Thus the wording. Theirs not mine;) I wouldn't call them "Old Folks" but its what they wrote themselves. heehee!

Anyway, I got the chance to work on these with my cousin Ashley ( Grandpa is her Grandpa too.) Ash is a pro at invitations and can whip out beautiful wording and prints like its nobodies business. Not to mention, she has lots of beautiful simple elegant layouts for us to case. So I give her credit for pretty much this whole concept. Thanks Ash, for all your help!
