Tea Holder Tutorial

Good Morning, Ladies! Today I have a new project and tutorial for you. This project was demonstrated at Regionals at one of the demo booths and I loved it!! I didn't get the name of the lady that was the original creator but if anyone knows or if this is your creation please take credit;)

I really can't get enough of these little cuties. I made then for my downlines as thank you favors at my recent Leadership Recap Party and I made them again with my girls/ customers that attended last nights Leadership Techniques Class. I think I love them so much because they are super easy and quick to make. You could even change up what you put inside them. Maybe you don't want to put tea in the pockets and you would prefer love notes instead. Go for it!

Here is a little video tutorial for you, so you can make them yourselves. Give it a try and let me know how they turn out!

Project Measurements:

DSP cut to 8 1/2" X 12"

Score on 8 1/2" side @ 2.5" X 6"

Score on 12" side @ 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 5", 7", 9 1/2", 10 7/8"

Supplies:

Everyday Enchantment DSP - FREE SAB Item 126154

  7. Great job on the video and I will link my blog to yours so they can see the video. The score on the last of the 12"side should be 10 3/4.

  8. just a suggestion...instead of trying to figure out how to fast forward your video, maybe you could have multiple examples: one for every step of the process. the tea holder is a very cute idea. thanks for the turorial.

  9. Loved your tutorial & this project is darling! Just wondering - what size cello bag (Stampin' Up! brand or not) did you use? Thanks!

  10. Hi there, me again. :0) I was also thinking that it would be great to make one of these out of a single sheet of cardstock as opposed to cutting up a piece of DSP. Any idea how to alter the measurements to make it fit?

  11. I've made these out of 6x6 paper. Turned the pockets to the inside, fold down the 'tips' to the inside and used a tiny brad to hold it closed. Added a tiny tag w/thin string. Results......looked like a tea bag.

  12. I love this project. Thanks for sharing. I am going to make them for a Birthday club we have for our local senior citizens.
I have found your final measurement for scoring should be 10 3/4 inches not 10 7/8.
