San Antonio, Play-by-Play
Alright! Are you ready for some serious pictures?? This may be my longest post to date! I just hope Blogger can stay with me. I had a hard time picking pictures to share with you too. Just think, I am breezing through a ton of stuff and leaving out a lot too. But looking back through gives me this warm butterfly feeling in my belly all over again!!
So, day one in San Antonio started with us arriving at our hotel room pretty late Tuesday night. We pretty much had time to grab a bite to eat and head up to our room to unpack, finish up swaps and prepare for the exciting days ahead of us. That's when the roommate gifts came out too. Look at those goodies!! Then it was sleepy time.......
Wednesday morning was the start of the fun. We didn't have anything scheduled for us to do until 2 o'clock which gave us some time to do a little exploring (Pepsi searching!) and sight-seeing. Here we are out front of the Alamo. Cool, huh?
And here is my favorite part of San Antonio. The Riverwalk. Amazing. And this is actually a bad picture. You should see it at night, buzzing with people and all lit up. I will show you more pictures of that soon....
Ooooooh excitement sets in!! Here we are walking in to check in and get our first glance at what our Leadership bag looks like. I cant wait!!!!!
Isn't it cute! Aren't we cute, I mean?? Here is my downline Nicole and myself, checked in and ready to go. Whoo Hoo!
And here we are, first in line, to head into Make and Takes. Make and Takes are always incredible.
Now this was a shock!! As we walked in there was a gift at every seat. A beautiful matching portfolio to match our new bag. It even had a personally signed MDS tag from Shelli herself and a beautiful bauble too. And some yummy chocolate that we learned was hand-made by one of the SU staff members. That's A LOT of chocolate he/she made!
I was too excited to stamp. Is that weird?? I cant believe I am even saying that!! But its true. The room was filled with displays from Artisan winners so I had to buzz around the room for a bit.
Here are some of our group ladies being good little stampers.
But of course, a little hysteria sets in and Kim tries her new reverse-able bag out as a hat too. I think she's workin' it. It looks great!
When we finished our Make and Takes we headed over to the other room (totally drawing a blank on what this room was called.) But it was full of beautiful displays like this.
and this! The cool part was that there wasn't any ropes to keep us back from the display. So you could pick things up and get a better look at them, even flip through pages of actual MDS projects. It was amazing!
Beautiful, right!
Here is the room from a far.
And of course, we had time to do some swapping too. Here is Nicole doing her first ever Swap. It's a big moment... I am so proud!.....and excited for her!.......tear. sniff.
