Sugar and Spice

I am so excited. Today I am off to a baby shower for my friend and fellow demo Jen. As I am sure you can guess, she is having her second girl (pretty awesome if you ask me) and the theme of the shower is candy confections (sort of a case of last years Convention theme.) The shower is being thrown by my cousin and fellow demo Lorraine (along with Jen's sisters and mom) so I hear there is LOTS of SU! inspired creations. Everything from the invite to decorations, favors, food and game prizes will have a SU! flare. Whoo Hoo! I am on the edge of my seat because we all know how talented Jen and Lorraine are. Not to mention the guests of the party are more SU demos and BFFs, so that means handmade cards (and from what I hear gifts) too. It's gonna be a great day!

I must say I am pretty please with how this card turned out as well. As for my gift for the shower? Well, lets just say I made it and it's my first EVER sewing project. I found this adorable creation while blog surfing and decided to give it a try. I actually had to go buy a sewing machine when I got to that step. So stay tuned and I will show you what I made tomorrow. I can tell you I am a nervous wreck to give it to her. So fingers crossed that she likes it. Wish me luck!
