Happy Earth Day!

Since it's Earth Day I wanted to share a little green tip with you. This tip is one that I shared at our Imprints meeting a few weeks ago. While looking for poems on Splitcoast I came across this great idea for when we, demonstrators, send out cards. Instead of signing the inside of the card, sign a post-it note instead. I found this great little poem to attach to the inside. Now, of course this may not be appropriate for every circumstance, maybe not for a sympathy card. But if it is a thank you or a birthday, why not.

All I did to get the poem printed on the post-it notes is print the poem repeatedly on a word document, print it out, lay post-it notes over the top of the poems then feed the paper back through the printer again.

Now this is why I like this idea:

1. It's green, of course! It gets your card one more use before the recipient sends it to the recycle bin.

2. It's kinda like giving a gift. You are not just saying "Happy Birthday" or "Thank You" but you are also giving them a card that they can use themselves. Just don't sign the envelope either.

3. And the best part is, if you stamp the back of the card with your name and blog info then that will get your info into one more person's hands that may not know that you are a Stampin Up demonstrator.

So what about if you aren't a demonstrator? Well, maybe you should be. Email me and lets chat: niki176@aol.com.

Or you could always consider selling your cards, right? Just to make a little fun money? Sure. Just remember the Angel Policy. If you don't know what that is then let me know.

Now go and do something nice for Mother Earth today!
