Cards for Ava
Yesterday, was the kid party for Ava. We had a blast. It was sugar overload for sure. But it was great. We got a bounce house too, which helped when the kids started to bounce off the walls:) Just kidding, all the kids were so great! But I'm not kidding about the sugar. We had a snow cone machine, a popcorn machine (I guess that's more butter and salt) and a cotton candy machine. I know, overload, right? But here is how I think about it. Ava loves snow cones, Sammie is a popcorn junkie, and me? Yes, I love cotton candy! So one for each of us. What can I say, Brandon takes care of his girls, for sure!
But check out the amazing cards we got yesterday for the Stampin Up Mom Club;) This first one was from Auntie Raine. I had to take the picture of the whole gift so you could get the entire affect. You can check out Lorraine's blog here.
This one is from my cousin, Ashley. Ava's birthday theme was Tangled. So I love these next couple cards that matched the theme. Ashley's card was kind of a "Let down your hair" tribute. So cool! Check out Ashley's blog by clicking here.
And check this one out! It looks just like Rapunzel's tower. Sort of a punch art version. Now let me just say, Jenn said she wasn't crazy about the way the card turned out. I say, Jenn, you're crazy. This is so cool! I would have never thought to do this.
Now this one, I am sure I will be caseing for sure. This one was made by Alyssa. And of course, we all asked for the crown template. But Alyssa is ubber-creative and she made it up herself. She said she used the oval punch. Brilliant, just brilliant! And the dimension on this card was unreal. Check out more of Alyssa's creations on her blog by clicking here.
But oh, be still my heart. I love all the cards, but I think this one is my FAVE!!! This one was made by Alyssa's son, Jack. Oh how cute!! It was decorated front, inside, and back. Absolutely adorable. Alyssa said she has a box that she throws scraps into for Jack: paper, ribbon, punches, etc. Then when he wants to make a card he has his supplies and creates to his hearts content. So cute. And good idea, by the way.
