It's My Birthday!!

Today is my birthday but the gift is for you! Remember for one day only, I will pay your sales tax. Yep, that's right! What's the best birthday gift you can give me? Just an order will do;) And the best part is you get to keep the supplies. Just be sure to email your order by the end of the day. niki 176@aol.com

Now, since it's my birthday I am taking the day off and I wanted to share some really amazing creations I have received. Some are Birthday and some are Halloween but they are all great.
This first one is from my friend (and Downline) Emi. I am not sure if you can see in the picture but the black bag is embossed with our spider web too. Be sure to check out Emi's blogs by clicking here and here.
This one is from my friend, cousin and Downline: Ashley. Cute card and you know me, I love punch art. Nicely done! Check out Ashley's blog by clicking here.

This cute little monster box is from my friend (yep, and Downline) Nicole. Isn't he cute. And she filled the box with some adorable Halloween ribbon and candy.
And this one is from my friend Alyssa. How cute is this!?! Love the box-bag, love the card, love the candy!! One question, did you actually find a stamp that says "Happy Halloween Birthday" or did you piece that together? Clever, very clever! Oh, and I just had to show the candy. I had never seen these before. Candy Corn Hersey Kisses. So yummy! This box is hiding in my stamp room so I don't have to share;)
This one is actually a Thank you card but I had to show it because it was so stinkin' cute! Is that the cutest little witch you have ever seen? She is so sweet! And I love how the card base looks like candy corn too.
And this one is a birthday card. But I am sure you could see that. This one and the one above are both creations of my friend Jenn (and yep, you guessed it, Downline too.) I love it! Both this DSP and this Stamp set are on my wish list. Cute, cute, cute!
Thank you so much ladies for making me feel so special. Have a happy and safe Halloween!

Aren't These Cute?

Today we have a guest stamper- Nicole. She is one of my fabulous Downlines and she brought these little goodies to one of our classes to show me. Adorable! Nicole used the Fox and Friends stamp set to and one of our Stampin Up Dies to make these Baby shower favors for a co-worker.
The paper is not SU! but it easily could be changed to some of our paper. I know you can't see it in these pictures but this white box had all this great shimmer to it. That can be done with either our Smooch Spritz or with a bit of our Shimmer paint in a hand sanitizer solution.
Thanks again for sharing these with us Nicole. I love how they turned out. I am sure your co-worker did too.
If you have a creation you would like to share with me and the Stampin With Niki viewers, please send me an email. I would love to see what you are creating! niki176@aol.com

What Can the Big Shot do??

Anything. Everything. The Big Shot can cut through a number of different materials too. It's one of those tools that once you have it you will use it for everything!

At a recent class one of my customers asked if I could bring the Big Shot with me and show her what it does. Here is what I did:
I started with a Die and demonstrated how the Big Shot cuts through multiple layers. I cut two Top Notes together (one is Marina Mist and one in Whisper White.) "It also can emboss", I said. I then took my White Top Note and Embossed it using one of our Embossing Folders. Wow, nice! "And these are called Sizzlets", I told her. Then I cut a shape using my Tons of Tags Sizzlet pack.

"Put those together and you have a nice little project. And it took no time at all!" So there you have it. One Die, one Embossing Folder, one Sizzlet. What do you think?

"Now take this home (and I had a tag already complete in my bag with all these pieces plus a little ribbon and stamping.) as a reminder of how cool the Big Shot is!"

October Hostess Gifts

I am so happy with how these turned out. I have seen candles done before and I even had a candle project done in one of my first workshops. But I personally, have never done it. So, everyone says they are easy to do, they are not kidding. These took me all of about 5 minutes. And aren't they pretty?
I just got my Medallion stamp. I know, finally! And I just cant stop using it. I love it! The idea for these candles came from a set I saw on Stampin Connection from Louise Radies. She even made a cut little box to put hers in. But mine were just like this. I did add a little Rhinestone to mine. Just for an extra touch of bling! Our Rhinestones are self adhesive but just to be sure that the Rhinestone didn't fall off I also added a tiny drop of Crystal Effects too.

Finish with a bit of that beautiful White Satin Ribbon and a pretty tag and there you have it. My hostesses liked them and I might make some more for Christmas presents too.

Tons of Treat Bags

Here are the treat bags that all our kiddos took their goodies home in after the pumpkin party. I just got some plain white gift bag and embellished them myself. Just an oversized Halloween tag and a bit of ribbon and that was it. I know, I know, that's not SU! ribbon. I don't do that, that often but I just miss our double stitched ribbon so much!
Every tag was a bit different. They were all embossed with the spider web and embellished with some of our punches and the Wicked Cool and Fang-tastic stamp sets.

Inside were some stickers, tattoos for older kids, play dough, candy, and their decorated cookies if they made some. There was also a kiddie art project (Ghost Picture frames) but some how it was more fun to throw the Ghost all over the house than it was to put them together:) Oh well! As long as they were having fun, right?

Pumpkin Party

Thank you to all our family and friends that braved the bad weather and the long haul out to our home yesterday for our little Pumpkin Party. We had a great time! And all those little pumpkin creations turned out AMAZING! We have a bunch of little Picassos on our hands;)
Here is Ava painting her pumpkin. We use paint, stickers and pipe cleaners to decorate (no knives) because that's safer, less work and let's face it, more fun!

We also did some face painting. I was impressed by the talented mommies too. Look at this cute monster Alyssa was painting on her son Jack. It looked just like our Build a Monster Stamp set.

And we did some toddler friendly cookie decorating. Just dip the Oreo in the Candy Melts and dip in the sprinkles. It was so cute. They were suppose to make a few and then I would bag them up for them to take home. But 9 times out of 10 they never made it to the bag. They went right into the belly. But I totally understand, just when you think a Oreo cant get any better..........Try this. It is so yummy!!

And here I am adding hand prints to our GIANT pumpkin I got on our trip to Delloso Farms. This came out so cute!

Here is the finished product. It will now sit on our front porch and greet our trick or treaters.
Now, I am off to the couch to put my feet up. It has been a crazy weekend (a fun weekend) but I am exhausted!

Thank You, Christina!

Thank you to my hostess Christina (and Helen) for inviting me to do a Stampin Party yesterday. I had a lot of fun. What a great group of ladies! We had experienced stampers, new stampers and a few that said they are not into stampin at all;) But guess what they all had fun! I even had an adorable little girl who asked if she could stamp too. Of course! And how cute was she, she stamped like a pro! And she was so cute asking me questions about my party: Is this your job? Do you like scrapbooking? Do you have everything in the catalog?? Oh, she was such a doll!
Here is one of the demos I did for the ladies. This my Express card. I showed the ladies how they can make a clean and simple (but cute) card with minimal supplies (paper, ink, stamps.) This card is for those just starting out stamping who don't have a lot of supplies or if you just need a card quick.

Now here is the same card in a "Step-It-Up" version. For those of you who have a little more time, or want to use some more supplies. I added a few Dimensionals, Ribbon, some of that fancy Tinsel ribbon and a whole lot of Dazzling Diamonds.
Here are both the Express card and the Step in Up card side by side. This card was great to demo because it showed the ladies the difference between our two different stamps. I stamped the Santa with a clear stamp and the "Merry Christmas" with a wood stamp. I also showed the ladies how to use our Stamp-A-Ma-jig with the wood mount stamps.
Okay, I gotta run. It's our big Pumpkin Party day. Whoo Hooo! I will be back tomorrow with more goodies from the both parties.

Monogrammed Card Sets

At the beginning of the month I participated in a book-a-ton event. It was really fun but really nerve-racking too. I had to call customers on the phone and ask if they would be interested in booking a party. Gulp! As stressful as that was for me, I am glad I did it because it worked. Then with some advice from my SU! business coach, he gave me some great ideas on games I could play with the ladies over the phone.
We played Book-to-Look and there was a special "code word" they had to know based on an earlier email they received from me. If they knew the code word then they would win a gift from me.
Well, my book a ton was a success and I am off to one of my booked parties today. I will also be dropping off a few "Code Word" Prizes to some of the parties attendees too. Here is what they won. A mini stack on Monogrammed Cards and envelopes. I hope they like them.
Now I gotta run, gotta get ready, gotta pack my car, gotta stamp all day with a bunch of friends..................I know, it's a tough job. But someone has to do it;)

This year, Stampin’ Up! has already answered my holiday shopping dilemma: with a permanent price reduction on most My Digital Studio professional print products. When I say reduction, I mean up to 60 percent on some items. To see the new amazing prices for US print products, click here.

Children's Fair

Here were are at our trip to the Children's Fair. It's kinda like Disneyland. All these Characters are walking around, there are rides, animals, shows to watch, and lots of free crafts. The girls had a blast. And to our surprise, we ran into our best friend Hannah at the fair. Here we are with Sponge Bob. Oh, and we rode a Camel too. And FYI, in case you didn't know, riding a camel is a really good work out. You have to hang on for dear life as you are being thrown all over the place and I was trying to hold on the both girls too. Don't let that cage fool you, it doesn't do much. I was so sore the next day. But all in goo fun, right?;)

Princes Party Fun!

Yesterday, was a great day! It was a great party Lenci family. We literately partied the night away. By the time we left the girls were in their jammies and fell asleep before we were even out of the neighborhood. They had so much fun, and they love being with all their friends. Party Success!
Here are a few of the card that Hannah ( or Hannah's mommy, Jenn) got to keep. Above is the card from Lorraine. Isn't that little crown perfect? And the card below is from Auntie (Alyssa.) I love how she beaded the "4". Really cute, huh?
And check out these goody bags. Hannah's creative mommy used one of Stampin Up's retired stamp sets (I don't know the name of that set) to make not only Princess goody bags but Prince bags too. Cleaver, very cleaver! And can I just say, bravo on the no candy good bags?? Not that I don't like giving my kids candy but they don't need it after cake. The little toys were perfect.

Now, I got to run. I got to prepare for my Longaberger party today! Whoo Hoo!

Birthday Princess

Happy Birthday (Party) Day to a very special Princess. Today is the my girls' best friend's birthday party. Whoo Hoo! The girls are so excited. The theme of the party is Princess so this is the card I made to go to our little Princess Hannah.
I cant take 100% credit for this one. It was inspired by two different cards I saw on Stampin Connection. One card was made by Sandra Hanedanian and the other was made by Janet McColley. Unfortunately, I can't find a blog for either one of them so if you are not a fellow demonstrator I cant show you their cards. But if you do have access to Stampin Connection be sure to look them up. Both of their cards were really cute. And my card is a combination of both.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to Hannah and I hope you ( and your Stampin Mommy) like the card. See you in a bit!

Punch Art Class

Another fun night of Stampin......or Punchin' actually. Here are some of my ladies completing their fifth round of punch art. As you can imagine those punch art books are full to the brim. Would you like a punch art book of your own?
Please reserve your spot for class #1 starting this Thursday. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible. This class comes with your punch art book. The cost of the class is $5 and a $15 minimum the day of class. You will love this class and love seeing all the amazing things you can do this your punches.

On a side note, I just had to show you this. Last night at the Punch Art class Jenn (our Hostess) blinged out her toes with some rhinestones. How cute is that!?! How did she hold the rhinestones on? Crystal Effects, of course!

Downline Project

Here is a one of the fun little projects we made at our Downline Meeting. I saw this idea from one of my demo friends who made it at another Stampin get together. Correct me if I am wrong but I think it was Kim Molesworth's project. I think it is so adorable and it was perfect for my girls. Because all of my Dowline Girls work their business differently, I thought that these would be great for my girls that do craft shows to hold their business cards and for those who do workshops these can hold their make and take samples.
I love how sturdy these guys stand up...........Well, most of them (inside joke from the meeting.) We attached them to the tile with just a bit of Crystal Effects. Each of us made two at the meeting. These also make really great photo holders too. What a cute and simple holiday gift for someone, right?

Thank You Downline!

Thank you to my Downline for making the trip out to my house last night. I had a really great time. I hope you did too. And a special thanks to Ashley for sharing some for her creations with us. Your cards are even more beautiful in person if that is even possible. Your organization and business tips were great too. For those of you not familiar with Hand Stamped by Ashley Romo please be sure to stop by her blog!
Here are some of my girls working on a new technique. All the cards came out great and the ladies left with tons of tools to help make their event planning a bit easier. We were missing a few of our Stampin Sisters, so if you were not able to make it to the meeting then I have an information packet for you with all the goodies the girls took home with them.

If you are interested in joining our group please let me know. Or if you have questions please don't hesitate to ask. Just ask me why I love my job! Hope to hear from you soon.....
