Cute Christmas

At this year's Camp we tried incorporating a few projects that were more than just cards. This was one of them. This project was created and demonstrated by me. The project was called Cute Christmas (named after the stamp set that was used.) This project was a 6X6 scrapbook page. 6X6 pages make really great gifts. If you are looking for an inexpensive Christmas gift (something heartfelt and handmade) try a mini scrapbook page in a shadow box or frame.
Now, we recognize that not all Stamp Camper like to scrapbook, so this project also had a card option as well. If you preferred the card then you could use your same supplies and just fold your card stock in half. It was really great to give the ladies a choice and I was happy to see that the projects were about half scrapbook pages and half cards.

And here is our 6X6 page on an example of what is might look like if you added it to a progressive page. We also recognize that scrapbookers scrapbook in all different sizes, so this page gives them options to use different size pages, the rest of the stamp set and a little more of that fabulous Christmas DSP!

Stamp Camp Cards

Slowly, I would like to share with you some of this years Camp cards. This was one of my favorites. This one was created and demonstrated by Lorraine. By sure to hop on over to her blog as well to see more of her creations.
This was her original card that she made for a Shoe Box we attended together. What's a Shoe Box? Well, it's when us demonstrators get together to create. We each make a card and cut enough supplies for everyone to make our card. Then you just pass the boxes around a make all the different cards. As soon as we made this card we knew it would make a great Camp Card.

As here is the actual card made at Camp. Sorry for the blurry picture. Because the camp was called Holiday Hoopla, we wanted the original card to switch to a Thanksgiving theme. So here it is with that new Thanksgiving DSP in our current mini. I have to tell you, that was not a paper that jumped out to me in the catalog but it is so pretty in person. It is a specialty paper, which means Texture! Its is really beautiful. Great card Lorraine!

Sam's First Haircut

I finally got my little Sammie her first haircut. One of the best things was it was cut by a family member. So no scary hair salon, we were just at Auntie Raine's house and in the middle of playing, we stopped to give her a trim and then she was off to play again. Here is Auntie Theresa workin' her magic on Sammie. I was afraid once we cut Sam's hair that her little waves would be gone but luckily they survived and she looked so cute. Not to mention when you put those big smocks on the kiddos their little heads look so tiny! It's adorable. Look at that last picture, Sam's falling asleep;)
Quick Tip: For both of my girls I kept a little baby time capsule. I used a formula can for each (they both used a different formula so its easy to keep them apart.) Then I filled the can with important items I wanted to hang on to: a newborn diaper, their first binkie, a bib, their first toy and of course those tiny locks from their first haircut. Notice the Stampin Up container? Those are perfect for hanging on to those tiny mementos.

Poor Ava

Another page for the family album. My poor Ava had a really rough week. It started on Sunday night when a "Jumping on the Bed" incident sent us to the Emergency Room. Very scary! She had to have her cheek glued shut and was sporting a couple of black eyes. I promise I told them the story of the Monkeys Jumping on the Bed but they didn't listen. Now they understand. The next day Ava crashed her bike and did quite a bit of damage to her knee. Follow that up with getting squished like a bug with the door to the garage and then falling and biting a hole in her bottom lip the next day. Boy, I would give anything to get her out of this funk. Her new nickname is "Accident Prone Ava." But look at what a sweet Daddy she has. Flowers make everything better!

Something Simple

At this year's Stamp Camp we were a little short handed. One of our very important fellow demonstrators was in a car accident a few days before the camp. Luckily she is okay but she was hurt and unable to participate in Camp with us. Of course she was missed and my heart goes out to her. This is a quick card I sent to her to try and brighten her day. As you know, my demo sister are like family so I wanted her to know I was thinking of her. I hope she is feeling better soon!

Something Vintage

This card went to my Up-Up Line. She has been so wonderful to me: So supportive, lets me borrow supplies and to my surprise gave me a few BIG goodies at our Camp. I was so shocked! It was really nice of her. So of course, I had to make a thank you card for her. PRESSURE!! Okay, I know Karen likes Vintage. Total out of my element. So I have to case and probably simplify because I don't have many Vintage style sets. So I found this really beautiful card by Iliana Crouse. But you will see mine is a lot simpler. I hope Karen likes it. I think Vintage cards are very pretty but it is definitely something that pulls me out of my box and I think I could use some more practice too;)

For Mom

Monday was a rough day for my mom. She had to make the decision to put her cat down. Bummer! That is such a hard thing to do. I feel so bad for her. Not to mention my girls love her cat so we had to have "the Talk." And that is no fun the do with little ones. But because Grandma is a little sad right now we thought a card would brighten her day. This is the card from me and the girls drew pictures of Bubba (and Simba, even though he is okay) to send to Grandma. I should have snapped a picture of those too. They were too cute, and guaranteed to make Grandma smile.

Mom, sorry about the rough start to your week but I think you made the right decision even though it was hard to do. Just remember the good home you gave him. Love you!

More from Camp

Here are some more pictures from camp on Saturday. I love all the displays. They are inspiration to me too. This picture below is Karen's set up. She does a lot of MDS project (like me) and I loved all of her Mini Mouse Party Decor she made for her grand-daughter. Look at that Mini Mouse name Banner. It was so adorable in person.
This Halloween Table was great too. This year we tried to group projects together according to their theme. What a great result! I looks awesome. I think I am going to make myself one of those "Scary" Halloween Banners you see hanging on the wall. It was so cool!
This table had a lot of my creations on it along with a Angie's and a few of Lorraine's. No particular theme here, just lots of goodies.

And this was Renee's table. I remember that awesome picture frame from last year. It was one of my favorite projects. But this time she changed the background DSP to spider webs. Pretty cool, huh? All of Renee's sewing is so impressive to me and I love that little dress form showing off our Simply Adorned Line.

But my favorite part of Camp is always the raffle prize cart. I love seeing all the projects we are giving away. Which one did you get? There were Halloween treat boxes, Renee's sewn purses, embellished candles, mini backpacks and those cute little aprons had a bag of treats with them and the recipe was tucked inside the apron.

And here are the rest of them. Some fashionable broaches, some pre-made glitter paint spritz, candy jars, Lorraine's was a combo (of a mini composition book, a scissors charm and a spritz bottle), my pocket calenders and a tote of pre-made cards. Really cool projects. And everyone loved them!

Stamp Camp Fun!

Yesterday's Stamp Camp is over and it was a huge success. Thanks to all the ladies that came and huge hugs to all the demonstrators that works to put it on. We were short handed this time around and we had a couple brave demonstrators step up and demo cards for the first time. I think everyone did really great. I hope everyone had a good time. Of course I did but I am so exhausted today.
Here is just a few pictures of our morning session just getting started. It was really hoppin' in the morning!
I now have to get to unpacking, placing orders and relaxing with my feet up. Oh, and lots and lots of coffee!! I will be back tomorrow with some more pictures of camp. Stay tuned...........

Spook-tacular!

Another great one! Got this one in my exchange too. I love a good Halloween card. This one didn't have a name on it but I am pretty sure it was made by Kim Molesworth. Let me know if I am wrong. I love these colors and that Bat punch is great!!

Okay, ladies gotta run. It's stamp Camp day. Yeah!!! I will have some really great pictures for you soon..........

Elements of Stlye

The Elements of Style Stamp set was not a set that initially stood out to me. It was one that I received FREE at Leadership. But once I got it out to play with, I loved it. I think it is one of my stamp sets that is the easiest for me to use. After a few months in the new catalog I can see what a popular set this is. At our recent Imprints exchange it was used a lot. I used it for my card and I received these two back. I love how different all the cards were. These came out great!
I love this color combo: Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Vanilla and Certainly Celery, I think. This card has so much texture and I love how there is a little natural element added in, the small wooded stick.

This one is so pretty. I love this mono-chromatic look. Concord Crush is a great color. Don't you love that ribbon??

Stamp Camp Raffle Prizes

This Saturday is our Holiday Hoopla Stamp Camp. I am really looking forward to it. Stamp Camp is always a really fun day for me. If you reserved your stop them I am looking forward to seeing you. This years camp is now SOLD OUT!! Great job ladies. I know all of the demonstrators participating in camp are looking forward to sharing projects, teaching techniques and hopefully WOWing all of you!

At camp we will be giving out raffle prizes, above you will see some of the prizes I made. These are some pocket calenders that I found in the $1 section of my craft store. Pocket calendars are always handy to have in your purse but they really weren't that cute. So I had to give them a little SU! makeover.
Now that's better. I also attached a flower key chain to go with them. I hope the recipients who receive these are happy with them. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday! Remember to bring your camera and stampin kit with you!

Thanks to Organized Stamping for posting this version so we can all use it over and over again. Click here to print your copy now and be sure to come back to the Stampin Tools section of my blog to print more when that one if all filled up!

Purse Card

How cute is this!?! I love this card. This is another great card I got in my Imprints card exchange. I love the little purse and it is so simple. It looks great with our Greenhouse Gala DSP too. What to learn how to make it? This would be a great project at your next Stampin Party.
This card was made by Joyce Persenaire. Thank you for sharing this, Joyce. I love it! I cant wait to make more.

Disney Challege

This year's incentive trip for SU! Demonstrators is Walt Disney World. Whoo Hoo. Well, that doesn't mean I am going, but I would love to. Or at least I would love to go to some incentive trip someday. But in the mean time, to get us in the Disney mood SU! is having a little contest. Send in your Disney inspired cards. I love Stampin Challenges, I have even won one once. This one you can enter as may times as you want. The only requirement is the card has to be Disney inspired: Make a card inspired by your favorite ride or character. I did have a few blast from the past cards that were Disney inspired: The UP card, the Disney Magic Envelope card, my Nemo card and the Handy Manny card. But I wanted to make something new too.

This one is not as fancy as some of the cards I have seen but it still gets the idea across. You should see some of the contest entries, WOW. But this one is my quick and simple version of Disney.

Wicked Cool

Here is another great card I got in the card exchange at the Imprints meeting. This was one of my favorites. In fact this is the card I voted for for best card. I love the simple two colors and all the product used here. Of course, you know I love Halloween and I love that Wicked Cool stamp set, love the spider web embossing folder, love that black lace, love that new larger scallop, love it all! Great, Great, Great card.
Julie Ramos is the creator of this card. Be sure to hop on over to her blog and see more of her fab creations.

Winning Exchange Card

A few weeks ago was our Imprints meeting and I came home with a ton of really great cards. I will show more in the next few days. But today's card was voted the best! isn't it cute. I love Halloween and apparently so does that little owl punch. Isn't that creative?
If the owl isn't on your wish list yet he should be. I have seen him made into this ghost and vampire, a penguin, a cat, and more. Some people are just so creative. The creator of this card is Frediruqe Chofforyon. Great card!!

Fun Water Bottles

Look at these adorable water bottles we made at our last Imprints Meeting. I think these are great. Perfect for little birthday parties. And they were so easy you could probably let the kiddos make them themselves. The above picture I borrowed from my upline Bev. These are her adorable creation. Be sure to hop over to her blog to read the supplies and steps to make these yourself.
Look how happy my girls are. I couldn't wait to get home and give these to the girls. Now they take them with them everywhere they go. Great project!

Party Gifts

These little cuties were made for a few ladies that weren't able to make it to last friday night's party. My hostess, on her own, collected a few outside orders and she didn't want the ladies to miss out on the projects because they couldn't make it to the party. We also wanted to say thank you for helping Nicole have a really great party.

Here are a few close up shots of each of the post-it note holders.

Each post-it note came with a little clip board, made out of a chip board coaster and a binder clip, and a small pen.

I used the medium cello bags to package them up. Cello bags are great for any kind of hand made gift and come in three different sizes. Be sure to add a few of these to your wish list. They will come in handy for all those baked goods and 3-D gifts you will be giving out this holiday season. Then I just tied them closed with a bit of my favorite ribbon. There you go.

Wedding Recap

Okay, I am finally home from one exhausting weekend but without a doubt one of the funnest, happiest, and most memorable days of our lives. It was Brandon's best friend's wedding. And it was amazing!! So here is my wedding recap....
The fun started Thursday for the guys with the Groom's birthday/Bachelor party. Then Friday night us ladies joined the fun for the wedding rehearsal and an amazing dinner. You wouldn't believe this dinner. I think it was about 12 courses or more. I was stuffed! But it was so delicious. Thank you Molly and Roger!

Here are a couple of the Groomsmen with their wedding party thank you gifts. The guys got these cool bats that were engraved with their names, and "Titus Choate Wedding." What was a really cool idea considering all the guys met playing ball together.
And here we are on the big day. Daddy was the best man so according to Matt Choate (the groom's brother) that made be the "Best-Wifey." Well not really, but I thought that was cute.
Thanks Matt for making me feel special;) The ceremony was perfect and beautiful. The best part was when the pastor was taking inventory of the ceremony and he said, "Okay, now what's left?" and Jess (the Bride) enthusiastically said, "THE KISS!?!" Well, no not yet, but we all knew what she was waiting for. It was adorable.
And here they are, being pronounced Husband and Wife. I know, not the best shot but I think she truly was the most beautiful Bride I have ever seen.
Check out that gorgeous cake. This picture doesn't even do it justice. That cake topper was full of bling and was so beautiful.
The wedding colors as I told you before were turquoise and red. So romantic. Look at the tables.
And here was the best part: Ava and daddy, dancing machines. The girls couldn't wait to dance and once they got going that was all they wanted to do. There is Sammie and Papa shakin' their groove thang too!

They also had this picture booth that was a HUGE hit. There was a steady line to get pictures. That was too fun. The pictures were hilarious too. There were props to dress up in and everyone one left with copies of there pictures. Great idea!!
And look! Uncle Sean caught the Garter! Whoo Hoo. Go Uncle Sean!!!! And here he is with the bridesmaid Ashley, who caught the bouquet. Hmmm, they kinda look cute together. Wink. Wink.
Ahhh, some of us just cant party all night long. Here is our little dancing machine all tuckered out.

So, to recap, it was an amazing night. Daddy gave a great toast (and he looked amazingly HOT in his tux), I cried like a baby through the video picture montage, I got to hang out with my family and best friends for a few hours (including my girls' god parents) and we made some incredible memories. All in all, it was one of the best and most memorable nights of my life. And it wasn't even my wedding!
Congratulations Pat and Jess! We love you guys so much.............Oh, and by the way, it's Mr. and Mrs. Choate not Mr. and Mrs. Titus. But calling them the Titus' is just funnier ;)
