So Sweet!

Look at this sweet little gift I received from my Friday night hostess. What a surprise! That was so sweet. And cute. I wasn't expecting that at all. Nicole said it was a thank you give for doing the party. I love it.
The paper high heel was made by Nicole she filled the little shoe with all sorts of pins and clips that look like little shoes. As the ladies saw at the party I go through tons of clips and pins when I do parties so this is perfect. Thanks again for thinking of me Nicole! That was really sweet!

Imprints Recap

This picture I am borrowing from my Upline's blog. This is a picture of most of the ladies. Some of the ladies were just outside the view of the camera. I love these meetings and this one didn't disappoint. All of the exchange cards were great, the make and takes were great, yummy dessert, and cool demo and some really awesome share items!
If you are in my down line (or would like to be) then we will be gathering soon to recap all the great info I brought home with me. If you are thinking about signing up to become a demo then September will be the month to do it. You should see the new Recruit Promo coming soon! You will definitely want to sign up........

Thank you Nicole!

Thank you again to my hostess Nicole for a really great party Friday night! Nicole had a big group and I was amazed when I walked in her house. The tables were set up great and looked beautiful. She had snacks and waters ready to go and she even set up a little display of her own products. It was too cool!
Here are some of the wonderful ladies I met showing off those perfect projects! Everyone was a natural stamper! We made two projects Friday night, one was a birthday easel card and the other was a Halloween treat box (care of Chicnscratch.) I hope all the ladies enjoyed the evening. I know I did!

Thank you to all the ladies who attended the party and helped Nicole earn lots of great hostess sets and FREE catalog merchandise! Nicole and I both thank you.
Now if you are wanting to hostess your own party just let me know. The holidays are just around the corner and so is a new Mini!!! That means new product and new stampin ideas. Book your party now and let the fun begin!

Imprints Exchange

Imprints meeting today. Yeah! I love these meetings. They make for a great day. Make and takes, card exchange, demos, and stampin chit chat. I can't wait. Here is my card for the card exchange. This one is a case of a card I found on Stampin Connection. I just changed the card size and used a different sentiment.

Now I had this adorible video I wanted to show you of Sammie helping me put my cards together but I cant get it to upload. So just picture her sticking dimentionals on the birds and putting the birds on the card. She was so helpful. Thanks Sammie, for helping mommy make her cards. Love you!

Another Coaster Set

Another set of coasters. This one is a gift that I will be passing along tonight to one of my Hostesses. This should be a great party. A couple of demos, some fun make and takes and a bunch of ladies. I love meeting new ladies and introducing them to stamping up for the first time but I think I have a few stamin' vets coming tonight too. Should be fun.
I will be sure to share some pictures of the fun with you tomorrow. Stay tuned.......

What are you Talkin' About!?!

Sometimes you need a quick filler page to help keep your 2-page layouts together. I had one blank page in my 2010 family album and I needed a quick page. This one was Brandon's idea. He was talking to me the other day about all the silly things they say. He said,"We should really write these down so we don't forget them." Great idea! Done.

I know there are more silly phases I cant think of at the moment but the great part is I can change my page around as much as I want to before I print it. Love, love, love MDS!

Auntie Raine's Gift

Okay, back to a little bit of stampin'. As some of you may know (if you are a demo at least) there was a super cute stamp that was sold at convention. Well myself, Lorraine or other demos I know were not able to make it to convention this year. So, Lorraine and I were eagerly stalking blogs for convention pictures. As soon as we saw the "Love what you do, share what you love" stamp we both fell in love. But there was no way for us to get one. Now because I knew Lorraine's birthday was coming up I thought I would make her her own replica of the stamp for her stamp room.
With a little help from MDS that was easily achieved. I printed it out and found a great shadow box for it and there you go. The only bummer was, the day before I went to give it to her, Stampin Up released a digital version of the stamp. What!?! I know, I know. Panic!
Well, do you think Lorraine bought the download..........Well of course! It was too cute not too. So I gave her the gift anyway and she was happy and surprised when she opened it. I am just super bummed I didn't beat SU! to the punch. Oh well. Happy Birthday Raine!

Happy Bday Kieran!!

Happy first birthday to my little nephew! This was our other super exciting event this weekend. Look at my adorable nephew with his first taste of cake! I realize I didn't upload the best picture here but you should have seen him tearing into his cake. Total demolition!! And he cried when mommy tried to take it away;(
And here he is sharing. Aww, so sweet. Yep that's my SIL and bro-in-law diving into to cake too. Oh, but I just gotta show you this..............

What a master piece! How cool is this. All done by my sis and our friend Kathy. Boy was this callin' to the my girls. Well, actually to Ava. All Sammie wanted was the gummy turtles.

I'm Not back, yet...

Well, I am not officially back yet. I am posting from an undisclosed located (well okay, its mom and dad's house.) My computer trouble is still being worked out but I can tell you it went from, "Oh, brother my computers a little slow" to "AHHHHHHHH, my computer wont work at all!!" And that was after the computer guy tried to help me. Thanks for nuthin'

So, in the mean time I leave you with some snap shots from my super eventful weekend.......

This is Brandon's cousin and his new wife. It was such a sweet ceremony. So romantic and pretty.
Love those center pieces. Oh, and so did Ava and Sam by the way;) We took a few of those goodies home to them. Another cute touch was the ring bearer walking down the aisle with a Craker Jack pillow holding the rings.

Look at the cake. Pretty, huh? Love that cake topper. Did I mention Daniel and Danielle have been together 15 years!?! Wow. And you should see them, so in love. Awwwwwww.

This one was for the head table. Pretty and delicious.
Okay, I hope to have my trouble resolved shortly. Hang in there with me. I miss you too;)

Mr. and Mrs.

This weekend my husband and I are going to a wedding for his cousin. This is the card I made. Something clean and simple. I really wanted to use this little cake from the It's the Thought stamp set. That set is a hostess set and can be yours with a qualifying workshop.

Not sure if you can see in the picture but I hopped the cake up with dimentionals and grounded it with a little shadow. Then I added a bit of sparkle to the cake with some Dazzling Diamonds. But my favorite part is that little tag. Love the Mr. and Mrs. stamp.

Bloop, Bloop, Bloop

That means Happy Birthday! Now normally I wouldn't show this card so early but I was just so proud of the way it came out. This one is going to my nephew for his birthday this weekend.
While browsing fish cards on some of my favorite card sites I kept coming across this little fish stamp that was too cute. The more I stared at it, the more I thought I think I can make him Stampin Up Style! So I grabed my punches and a die (Butterfly die for his tail) and started creating. I think he came out pretty cute if I do say so myself.
Click here to see the two cards the inspired my card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Family Day!

Yesterday we enjoyed a Super Sunday together as a family. Daddy decided to take us to the Sacramento Zoo. I didn't even know there was a Sacramento Zoo:) It was really fun and there was tons to do.
We started at the zoo and rented this really cool safari jeep double wagon to cruise in style. After the Zoo we walked across the street to Fairtale Town. That was cute. The girls loved it. There was also an amusement park right there but instead we headed down to Old Sacramento to do a little shopping. Thank goodness the weather was a little cooler than it has been. It was a beautiful day, with tons of walking and lots of fun. Thanks Dadddy!

Cool Tricks, Cool Tricks. Yeah!

Cool tricks, cool tricks. Yeah!.............Yep, that was my Yo Gabba Gabba impression. You knew that, right? Okay, now this trick is not exactly using Stampin Up supplies but it was too cool. And give me some time (the pumpkin party of course and probably birthday parties to come) and you will definitely see me workin this trick for my girls.
My girls love their faces painted. I actually bought a face painting kit to use at home. But on one of our play date trips last month, we went to Pixie Woods, there was a girl painting faces. Of course we had to do it. The cool part was she was using STAMPS!!! She just inked up the stamp, pressed it to their little cheeks and filled it in with face paint. You should have seen the look on all us "Stampin Up Mommies" faces. Mouths dropped open, eyes darting back and forth, light bulbs going off, "Did you see that!?!".......Well, you get the picture. We were kinda impressed:)

Now, look at Jenn. One of the "Stampin Up Mommies." The face painting lady had to take a break right in between our group of kids. So Jenn jumped in to finish our kiddos and give the stamp trick a try. It worked perfect! Too cool, I think!
Oh, by the way, just be sure to use a washable ink. The ink she was using was called Snazzaroo and I bought some "Ultra Washable" ink pads made by Hampton Art that can be used on skin. But of course I think Stampin Up stamps will work the best. Yes, definitely our stamps only;)

Oops!

Welcome to my stampin room!........... Okay, not really. But maybe someday. This is definitely something to work towards. This is a picture from the Stampin Up home office, Legacy Room. You can see more picture like this and other awesome displays by checking out the Stampin Up Facebook page.

So why the oops? Well you know I think of my blog and my fabulous blog followers everyday but I forgot this morning:( Yesterday was a crazy day for me. I had tons of errands and I was joining my parents at a funeral for one of there friends. With little time yesterday I decided to pack my bags and stay the night with my parents. It was just easier. But when I woke up this morning I realized I didn't have anything to share. So I called on Stampin Up to bail me out! I know you enjoy these pictures. Now go check them out and I will be back on track tomorrow. ...I think:)

Christmas Wreath

This was a fun little card to make. This one I saw on Stampin Connection a while ago and just had to try it myself. Its a nice variation on the traditional card. I used the Clear Circle Die for the card base then ran some Old Olive Card Stock through the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and punched a few Scallop circles out. I kept this version simple but you can always step it up too.
Just picture how cute this card would be if you frosted the wreath a bit with some Dazzling Diamonds or added some bling with our new Rhinestones or Pearls. Cute, huh?

Take a Moment

Something short and sweet. Here is a quick and simple card I made to go with a little care package I sent off to one of my downlines.......A way, way over due package! I am so sorry Ash but your stuff is on its way to you now. Sorry it took me so long.
I just love this set. It is so sweet. This one is called It's the Though. It's a level one hostess set and it can be yours with a minimum order or party of only $150. But, you only have until the end of this month to earn it. Our current mini is in the final stretch of its duration. So that means if you still have items on your wish list then lets help you earn them quick! Remember, hostessing a party is a piece of cake! We can also do silent parties if that suits you too. You're in my Thoughts....

Just play around with my supplies again. I have to tell you though, I love the way this one came out. I know there is a lot goin on on this card. But I think it works, right?
I am loving the layered stamp look right now. I think that is such a neat contrast. What do you think? Well, off to enjoy my Saturday. Have a great day!

What's it for? Well, you will get a better idea when its all done but, did you know that hostessing a party is a piece of cake?? Just ask me how.
Now, I gotta make a few more pieces of cake and then I can show you my finished project! Have a great day!
